Is it easy and totally free to download and use wordpress.org?

I am a new blogger, I am reading blogging for dummies, and I wanted to know if you can use wordpress.org for free, no strings attached. Thanks.

Yes, wordpress is totally free – it’s an open source project.

But as mentioned, you will need a hosting account to host your wordpress blog.

Their control panel is “Cpanel” – so you can use the ‘fantastico’ tool to install wordpress with just a few clicks of your mouse.
